About My Journey

Hello! My name is Jenn!

I’m a 40-something wife and mom of 2 kids, 1 dog, 2 cats, and 4 chickens, living in Wichita, KS. I started this blog in March 2016 as a way to document my weight loss journey and to help keep myself accountable through weekly blog posts.

I also wanted to have one spot to organize all the healthy and tasty recipes that I find throughout the web because a lot of sites don’t include nutrition info, but I decided that every recipe here will.

The main point of this site is to remind myself that even when I don’t feel like it, if I want to get healthy and lose weight, I need to JUST GET WALKING!

I am determined to lose 60 pounds, improve my overall health and continue my journey in clean-eating and daily exercise.
